Tom has been among the top 0.1% of realtors nationwide since 1988. During his many years with Coldwell Banker in Menlo Park he was consistently outstanding, ranking #3 internationally in 1996 and #6 in 1997 out of the firm’s 55,000 realtors. In 2000, Tom founded Encore Property, which had grown to be among the most prestigious boutique brokerages on the Peninsula. In 2006, Coldwell Banker acquired Encore Property, bringing Tom and his team back to Coldwell Banker.
Tom brings an extraordinary fund of knowledge, sharply focused on Atherton, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, Woodside and Redwood City. He has an intimate knowledge of the mid-Peninsula, having lived here since 1964, long before it became “Silicon Valley.” He attended Encinal Elementary School and is a graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School and Menlo College.
Tom is well-known known as an exceptional real estate professional with a deep understanding of this unique market. He is recognized for his success in residential real estate and is also an authority in residential development, representing sellers and buyers of land as well as custom home builders.
A longtime community leader, Tom has served as a member and director of the Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the Chamber’s fund raising committee. He created and chaired the Connoisseur’s Marketplace, Menlo Park’s largest annual event, attracting over 30,000 people yearly.
